I decided that this is probably a good time to talk a little about why I am so excited about the coming year.

This time last year, I had just found out that I was finally pregnant again after trying for 18 months. My husband and I were both really excited at the prospect of giving Carter a new brother or sister. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and I had a miscarriage on January 7th.
I started doing a lot of soul searching which led me back to pursuing my dream of owning a successful network marketing business. I found a website that immediately caught my attention because I had never before seen such good use of the internet to attract and filter prospective business partners. I joined that company in early August and then found out that I was pregnant again a few weeks later.
I was a little concerned that being pregnant may interfere with my goals in my business, but was excited none the less. The excitement didn’t last long though, because I had another early miscarriage.
You may be wondering at this point how this story is going to get back to me being excited, but just stick with me.
The second miscarriage was a little bit harder for me to comprehend, but I decided to just focus on my goals. I signed up for several courses and communities. I started reading several blogs and did something I never though I would do…. I created my own blog. It didn’t take me long to realize that writing a blog was going to be the best way for me to reach my goals.
I am so amazed by how many wonderful people I have met through Social Media and Blogging and I know this is only the beginning. For me my blog is about sharing the information that I am learning and connecting with other people.
I am excited about this year because I have finally found a way to reach my goals. But better than that, I have found a wonderful group of people who I can help to reach their goals. I know that, working together, we will all accomplish great things this year.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I also had a miscarriage after my first born was 18 months old. It was devastating, and I can only imaging having to go through it a second time. Your determination to keep going and still work to inspire others will come back to you in wonderful ways. I wish you the best of luck getting pregnant again.

Melissa, my heart is with you. I unfortunately can relate as well ~ my miscarriage was before my son, but getting pregnant has (and is) a challenge for us. Perhaps we could connect offline and support one another ~ I know how isolating the experience can be. You are a a shining light here, I look forward to continual growth with you.
